Unfortunately due to some unforseen circumstances the Betattitude Ver. 3.0 will be postponed until the beginning of 2008 or so. We were "building" a new revamped Betattitude (Version 3.0) but instead we present Betattitude Ver. 2.20 .

The changes from Betattitude Ver 2.0 are few:

• Lecturer, due to his tight schedule, won't be able to give us his pick this season. We would like to thank him for his great contribution to this site.
  
• You won't find individuals tipsters' picks but instead we gathered them into Betattitude Picks category. Each pick will cost 8 Euros and you will know from which league the pick comes from.
  
• The Lay Of The Day selection has been withdrawn.
  
• Our records will be verified by an independent service.

Betattitude Ver 3.0 will be with us in a few months. Any outstanding balance o­n your account will be carried forward to Betattitude Ver. 2,20.

Let's hope that our performance will stay o­n the same level's as last year.

I Would Like to congratulate HAMMERTIME for his two brilliant picks. When the vast majority of the tipsters all over the net suggested that Hellas will lose the WC semi-final and most of them suggested that the Americans will beat the handicap ,

HAMMERTIME had a different opinion and he was quite confident too. Let's take a look o­n his tips............

Tomorrow there is a great game between USA and HELLAS but in my opinion the handicap and money line are completely wrong! Trully i cannot understand what the world community is thinking and is betting o­n these odds.

Maybe is the heavy name of the ex-Dream Team which led the bookmakers to offer US money line from 1,10 to 1,17 but if someone checks the way the two teams perform, he wouldn't be comfortable to bet o­n USA.

USA is a team with great individuals who are playing in a completely different basketball world than their european counterparts. They prefer to win their game through their fast pace, their high scoring abilities and their steals. They try to "bring" their opponents into their fast pace and we saw that many times in their WC matches. But we also saw, that when the game doesn't have a fast pace, they have great problems. In their game against ITALY, they won the game due to ITALY's failure to capitalize o­n their advantage and o­n the quarter final vs GERMANY, they won the game due to the fact that the Germans arenot a team at all.

As for the Hellenic team, i wrote my opinion o­n my last tip where i suggested that they will win the Chinese with 20+ points difference. They have very good "units" and are 100% team. They coorporate in an excellent way and have a great defensive play.

So how do i expect the game? All depends o­n the Hellenic side. Yannakis is a great coach and i don't believe that he will be driven into US way of playing. As i said earlier, US will have problems with the European way of basketball and this is where Yannakis will try to beat them. If the Greeks control the pace of the game and drive Americans into the European way. With a Zone Defensive strategy, will block US scoring abilities and will take the lead. Don't forget that the US team is not used trailling at score for more than 1,5 periods and will start losing their psychology. 

Therefore we are talking about a tough game, which will end with a narrow US victory or a great Greek upset. I personally give 52% to US to win the game and 48% to Hellas. As for the handicap (10,5 points) there is a 2% chance for US to beat it and 98% for Hellas to hold it.

It seems that the WORLD HAS GONE MAD and i am ready to take advantage of it and put the following bets:

Bet 1 has great value and with a little bit of luck we end up victorious. Bet365 is offering Hellas ML @ 6,00 , Gamebookers @ 4,50 , Bet At Home @ 5,00 and you can find it o­n Betfair @ 6,40.

Bet 2 for me is a SURE BET. There Is No Way that the US team can win this game with more than 10 points and that's why i am betting the maximum amount of units. Gamebookers and Bet365 offer the line at 11,5 and Bet At Home @ 10,5

SHEPHERD

 I would like to welcome you to BETATTITUDE. This is a free-picks site where you can find some useful suggestions to beat the Bookie.

But first, some things about me, the SHEPHERD. When i finished my Msc o­n Accounting and Finance, i worked for more than 10 years in London's, Stockholm's and Athens' stock exchanges. Since i am Greek, i have the "betting" bug in my blood and during that period i became familiar with many sports. After a while, many Europeans found access to the internet and the first internet Bookmakers emerged. o­n a personal level, i found that i couldn't combine stock exchange and betting since both require a lot of time and so i had to choose o­ne of them.

But it seemed that luck was o­n myside and after a few years the first bet-exchange company was founded o­n the net. By that time i knew that i could combine both, by simply trading bets o­n the internet. At first there wasn't much liquidity but as the years passed by, more and more people became familiar with the internet and bet-exchange and the problem was solved. Right now i earn my living sorely through bet-trading.

So how did i come up with the idea of creating BETATTITUDE?

Well, through the years of betting, i created many good contacts and made some good friends o­n the way. Bet-trading is quite impersonal and didn't want to lose contact with "original" betting. So, i gathered some very good tipsters from different backgrounds and launched this site.
